NO GATE SALES @ HARVESTFEST

Tickets are STILL available online and at a few outlets (better call first to see if they are still stocked!). However, there is limited availability, and at the rate they are flying out the door, Tickets WILL SELL OUT in advance this year!

We put our faith in you to help us make a change this year and you all have responded in force ! We never imagined that we would sell out Harvest this fast ! and we did it all word of mouth through the Jam Fam Roots connections. Guaranteed to have the highest vibes ever !!

Please help us to spread the word not to come to the Gate unless you have Tix. We really dont want to have to shatter kids spirits by turning them away.  and make no mistake about it … we have before and will send heads away again. (I can send you some hate mail we got from P.E. if you doubt it ) hehe

We made the deal with yall to reclaim the vibes by shrinking the event and you have lived up to your part…

now we will too!

Thank you !! We are sooo excited to have Project Earth vibes amplified by twice the heads !! WHAT IS GONNA HAPPEN ?!?

respect and luv

We Weathered the Storm… Together!

Sooo many miracles and acts of kindness this weekend. It goes beyond a music concert and into our lives where I know I can count on you guys for support. We affirm the faith that no matter what is thrown at us…. we will pull together … and do it with style and smiles !! a family that plays together stays together :)

“Be Fearless and Play” was put to the test this weekend. Mark and I used to live on a Sailboat. As Captains you never really know how good a crew is until you weather a storm together. We would… and will …. proudly Sail anywhere and everywhere with you ! love – Respect – and thanx to all of you

We had completely surrendered any hope of playing. We were hunkered down under the stage ready to go down with the ship when the whiskey came out. In a fit of liquid courage Patrick made a mad dash into the storm…. and returned with his Bag Pipes. Read more »

Welcome Home!

Welcome to the new Wookiefoot.com After spending over a decade with our last site, we decided it was the opportune time to come out with a new one. We have developed such a beautiful community over the years… from our tribe at Harmony Park, to our Mid West family, to the international organizations and collectives we have linked into. We see this rebirth of our website as a means of building our community and connecting all of these webs.

Our hope is to stay more in touch with all of you… offering more insights into our communities collective mind. We want to provide more music, more videos, more writings, more often!… so please come visit. We will also feature art from the many random people who have inspired us through out the years. Thanks for checking it out… Welcome Home!

Xavier Rudd at Harvestfest

We have heard your calls!  We can not even begin to describe how excited we are to have Xavier Rudd headlining Friday night with us at Harvestfest.  We first saw him years ago  as a one-man-band with 3 didjeridoos, 4 guitars, and more energy than I’ve ever seen a single person produce!  Possibly the best  show I have ever seen in my life!   Perched on his throne of instruments, Xavier Rudd instantly hypnotizes every onlooker with his signature trio of didgeridoos, his lap steel guitar and the ability to play it all at once. Alongside his funked-out bass player and phenomenal percussionist, Xavier turns the entire set into an alarmingly unified and organic spectacle. Rudd believes his music is a gift from his ancestor’s and part of his journey is to share it and use it to connect with others. I know that once you experience his show, you will feel this connection.  There’s no mistaking the genuine article!!!

Harvest Fest Tickets – On Sale Now!

Harvestfest Tickets are on sale now! We are so excited to announce this years line up, including Xavier Rudd, Beats Antique, and Trevor Hall just to name a few. And please b aware that we are reducing the number of tickets for Harvestfest this year to 2,800… (over 700 less that last year). To learn more about why and how we are making changes and improvements to the event, please read the “Letter from the Lorax” posted below. Project Earth sold out over a month earlier than expected and we don’t know how long Harvesfest tickets will last!

A Letter from the Lorax – The Future of Harmony Park

Our beloved ancient Oak playground has become home to us all through out the years. Can you believe it all started 14 years ago with a house party. Each year more of us got turned onto the vibes and the family grew. Each year new challenges arrived as gatherings transformed into events. As our community grew so did the need for better organization and safety. Suddenly there was a need for an on-site EMT, Security Staff, and more toilets. Then parking became an issue so we hired parking staff and front gate staff and the production grew to provide more sound for more heads. We then expanded to 3 and 4 day events with 3 stages and opened more camping. Now we have reached capacity and the outer edge of our neighbors nerves. Read more »

Its that time !!!

Many of you know the drill but there are always Festi-Virgins amongst us…..
and its always good to re-remind us Old School Festi-Villans !!

1. bring a newbie…. Festi-Virgins !! ( this is a wonderful way to see anew all the magic though fresh eyes and spread the vibes deeper into our personal worlds)

2. Come bearing gifts…..like life…. you get out of festivals what you put in to them. All is a reflection of your inner self !! If you give a good time… then you are bound to receive a good time. What are your gifts…. hugs, candy, music, food, smiles…. it doesnt take much and its infectious. (dont forget your giving tree offering) Give what you can …Take what you need Read more »
