Our beloved ancient Oak playground has become home to us all through out the years. Can you believe it all started 14 years ago with a house party. Each year more of us got turned onto the vibes and the family grew. Each year new challenges arrived as gatherings transformed into events. As our community grew so did the need for better organization and safety. Suddenly there was a need for an on-site EMT, Security Staff, and more toilets. Then parking became an issue so we hired parking staff and front gate staff and the production grew to provide more sound for more heads. We then expanded to 3 and 4 day events with 3 stages and opened more camping. Now we have reached capacity and the outer edge of our neighbors nerves.

This is why we started Project Earth to preserve an intimate gathering at our Home. We are still very proud to have grown and shared our magic forest with many others. We have witnessed this love spread to many communities in the surrounding states. 10KL Fest and Rothbury further expanded the Jam Fam Scene in the Mid-west creating thousands of new Festi-Freaks. The World is Better for it!!

Now that these two Festy giants will not be in effect this year…. The council has convened to contemplate the effects this will have on Harmony Park. We have been BOMBARDED with mail from new Jam Fam who want to come this year for the first time and Bands looking for a new home to play. Project Earth Tix are SOLD OUT a month earlier than last year and Bella will go to capacity !!!! This summer the park is headed for record numbers of people. BUT HAVE NO FEAR!!!!!! We can navigate these troubled waters to the shores of Bliss again!!!….. and this is how…… The Project Earth Festy Model is the answer!

At P.E. you have the space to make a little camp with your friends and we all have the room to create more magic in the park. If we had more land we know these Vibes could work with more people…. but alas… we don’t. It is by limiting the capacity and placing more focus off the stages into interactive areas and activities that P.E. has become a favorite Festy Secret to many of us. This year Harvest Fest is going to follow the P.E. model!

Image you and your friends in the full Energy and Power of Harvestfest … with 500 less tents and space for you to make camp again, with clean toilets and less trash to manage. This is exciting to us!!! But is a big risk for us too. It’s no small deal to turn away 1/4 of our friends and family as well as the financial support that goes with it. BUT THATS WHAT WE ARE GONNA DO!! Harvest Fest will be limited to only 2800 heads this year. That will be a cut from a projected crowd of 4000 this year if we do nothing.

We expect to sell Harvest out in advance in the same way that Project Earth does. Whether or not there are Tix avail at the door will be determined by availability. It is not our desire to send people home at the gate who have driven far and have their spirits dashed at a closed gate. (I can see the angry mail already). We will be raising the average Ticket price to try and fill the gap of 1200 less heads and to help limit capacity. We recognize that this will keep some of you from being able to afford to come. Please know that we are truly sorry for this. In our hearts we feel deeply the responsibility to make these sacred gatherings safe and highly focused with the intention of love and peace… which is something we can no longer control with the growing demand for HOME. We are putting our trust in you… and your testimony to us about this Family and preserving the vibes.

Also….. There is a Cancer that has been creeeeping into the Jam Fam scene all over the Nation. Harmful Chemicals are being introduced with the sole purpose to deceive and make $.  Every year at Events across the country hundreds of kids come looking for love and communion and leave in an Ambulance.

DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING!…  Its not worth the risk!

We are asking this community to step up to this challenge. We have a family that watches out for each other and stands up for its self…. use your voice and tell them these things are not welcome at our Home !  This will test the resolve of this community, to show the Jam Fam Scene what is possible when caring people shine.
I have no doubt we will succeed!  Long live the trees!  AMEN !
